accents/dialects and a video thing (take 3)

My first attempt was with flickr and I didn't realise they cut the video at 1.30. Duh. What's the point!? Then YouTube was being finicky, so now it's with Vimeo. Maybe it will work for you all now, though what an anti climax.

So this is doing the rounds of various blogs that I'm too lazy to link to, but I was bored and thought I'd give it a go.  It's to show others who may or may not be from my own country what I sound like, how my accent works, or doesn't!!

I'm sorry if the sound is really low, chuck on some headphones and crank up your volume, or maybe don't if you don't want to listen to my nasal-y voice! (it does have some nice pics to peruse!)

THE WORDY BITS:
Say these words:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught
Now answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

I used Vimeo to host the video and I used Windows Live Movie Maker to put it all together.  Fenstar Productions 2011

  7. Very eloquent. I can hear three accents in your voice, US UK and of course Australian. Overall, nice and not grating.
